Tillamook County Commissioner Mary Faith Bell has earned your vote in the May 2026 election. As a former Commissioner, I have seen firsthand her analytical skills, abilities, character, integrity and empathy. She not only listens to constituents, but she also hears them. She has the unique ability to both find workable solutions and say no when necessary.
Her leadership skills are proven in many ways, including leading Tillamook Bay Community College as the Board President over the past 12 years to a new School of Nursing and other significant improvements.
Her background as former editor of the Headlight Herald, Chair of the Economic Development Council, a member of the NW Housing Authority Board and administrative positions at our local hospital bring a powerful appreciation and understanding of the many unique issues in Tillamook County including jobs, flooding problems, housing, ocean issues and much more.
Mary Faith Bell is also keenly aware of the many issues facing an aging population in the county. She strongly supports the many programs available to seniors across the county.
Mary Faith Bell also supports the growing tourism industry in the county while mindful of the impact and costs associated with the business. She also supports our traditional industries of fishing and forest products while balancing costs and environmental impacts.
Mary Faith Bell is also a strong supporter and powerful advocate for our well-known industry of world-class dairy products.
In sum, Commissioner Mary Faith Bell has earned your vote for another term representing the people of Tillamook County. It’s really a rather simple decision.
